Spice Diana, born Namukwaya Hajara Diana, rose to prominence as a Ugandan R&B performer after achieving widespread attention in 2014 through her breakthrough track "Onsanula." Later singles such as 2018's "Now" and 2020's "Kononya" kept her established within the East African music landscape.
Early on she gravitated toward rap and hip-hop before shifting into R&B during adolescence. Time spent in the church choir and after-school programs refined her vocal technique, while her engagement with art and fashion opened doors to entertainment-industry contacts.
