Biography
Emerging from the varied DJ performances of a London-based pair, Super Drama's techno sound, infused with Italo elements, took shape as their initial release from 2017, titled "Drama Theme," turned into a staple within the city's LGBTQ+ nightlife. Jerome Slesinski and Jon Arnold established the duo after first crossing paths while spinning records on the gay club circuit, where extended sets mixed Italo disco, techno, new beat, and custom bootleg edits crafted for seamless flow. Only in 2017 did original productions surface from the pair, beginning with the independent SDR-001 that featured "Drama Theme." The subsequent year brought the Affected Elegance EP on Days of Being Wild, Ultra on Lisbon-based Discotexas, and multiple singles issued independently via Super Drama Records. Interest from Moshi Moshi prompted a 2019 signing, which yielded the tracks "Unforgettable Runway" and "S/S 07" before they were gathered on the 2020 fashion-inspired EP Unforgettable Runway.
