Biography
Alex Alarcon, hailing from Barcelona, developed a deep interest in electronic music through his admiration for acts such as My Bloody Valentine and Seefeel. Already acquainted with both the synthesizer and guitar, he acquired a sampler along with an Atari computer to start crafting his own tracks. His debut album under the Sustainer moniker came out in 2003 via the Italic imprint, which is based in Cologne and run by Stefan Schwander.
