Biography
Tchico launched his singing endeavors alongside the Bantous, after which he headed to Nigeria as a member of the Waka Waka Band. The year 1979 brought the release of his classic Jeannot, recorded with Lolo Lolita. Arriving in Paris during 1983 ahead of prevailing trends, he assembled the Congolese supergroup Les Officiers of African Music. In 1988 he assembled Kilimandjaro as his new backing band.
