Biography
In Long Beach, California, MCs I-Man and Sinful established the Latin rap duo tha Mexakinz. Releases including 1994's Zig Zag and 1996's Tha Mexakinz featured their fluid bilingual rhymes, which attracted an underground audience spanning hip-hop and alternative rock listeners. Elements of the latter style surfaced on 1998's Crossing All Borders, though the album stayed anchored in the former.
