Biography
Formed in 2006, the Belgian rock band the Ditch—fronted by vocalist Kristof Van den Bergh alongside guitarists Sven Muller and Raymond Geerts with drummer Antony Van Der Wee—landed a Sony Records contract after claiming victory in a Global Battle of the Bands contest. Their Best New Artist win at the 2008 TMF Awards paved the way for work with producer Oscar Holleman (Within Temptation) on the debut album In This World, which arrived to strong critical praise in 2009.
