Biography
Formed during the early to mid-1970s, the Eleventh House functioned as guitarist Larry Coryell’s primary jazz-fusion rock ensemble. Its penetrating, high-volume attack delivered an especially hard-edged texture. The band’s initial three albums represented its strongest showcase for Coryell’s ideas. Drummer Alphonse Mouzon and keyboardist Mike Mandel completed the core lineup.
