The Luxury Liners

Origin: U.S.A
Listen on Coda
Luxury Liners took their name from a Gram Parsons composition and were first envisioned by Foxymorons member David Dewese as an alt-country project following his relocation from Texas to Nashville. Ultimately the band gravitated instead toward a guitar-crunchy power pop sound that evoked classic acts such as Big Star, Badfinger, and the Raspberries. Their debut album, Sound As Ever, appeared in May 2000, and the Believe EP arrived the next year.
