Biography
The Maggots consist of a Swedish trio whose lineup features Stefan Hellstrom on bass, Mans P. Mansson handling guitar and vocals, and Jonas Lundberg also on guitar. Their sound fuses 1960s-style garage-psychedelic rock with touches of punk, swamp rock, and frat dance-rock. Mansson and Lundberg first teamed up during the 1980s in the Crimson Shadows, a band that issued several singles and one mini-LP. The Maggots released their debut album, Get Hooked!, in 2001.
