The Swingin' Neckbreakers formed their vintage rock lineup in 1992 when brothers Tom and John Jorgensen gathered in Trenton, New Jersey and added Don Snook on guitar. Tom covered bass and vocals while John played drums, allowing the trio to align with the trash rock scene alongside Southern Culture On The Skids, The Lyres, Flat Duo Jets, and The Wooglers. They promptly joined Telstar Records and introduced themselves via the single "Diggin' A Grave," then delivered their debut album Live For Buzz in 1993. A European tour and several singles on assorted labels filled 1994, leading to the follow-up Shake Break on Telstar the next year. Don Snook departed in 1996, after which Jeffery Lee Jefferson took over guitar and appeared first on the 1997 album Kick Your Ass. Return of Rock and Live Live Live surfaced in 2000.
