After Håkan Hellström achieved massive popularity, The Plan surfaced as the next major act tied to the Swedish pop outfit Broder Daniel. Theodor Jensen handles leadership duties, songwriting, vocals, and guitar within The Plan, and he also serves as guitarist for Broder Daniel, the same group where Hellström holds down the bass position. The project assembled in Stockholm, Sweden, during 2000.

Jensen shares the limited vocal range found in Broder Daniel and Hellström alike, yet this has not hindered his output any more than it did for his idol Bob Dylan. A skilled guitarist and tunesmith, he guided The Plan to major Scandinavian impact with their self-titled debut album, which earned four Swedish Grammy nominations in 2001.
