The Well Wishers

Jeff Shelton, frontman of the power pop collective the Spinning Jennies, launched The Well Wishers as a side project centered on harmony-rich choruses and intricate arrangements. Their first release on Not Lame Records contains thirteen painstakingly assembled tracks of underground pop that evoke the Posies, Matthew Sweet, and XTC. Twenty-Four Seven appeared in May 2004 and was followed two years later by Under the Arrows.
