Turf

By the close of 1995, Argentinean quartet Turf had begun immersing itself in the domestic rock circuit. Under the guidance of Joaquín Levinton—formerly singer and guitarist with Juana La Loca—the group captured its first album, Una Pila De Vida, across May and July 1997, with Mario Sipperman and Danny Lozano of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs handling production. The band’s sophomore release, Siempre Libre, arrived in October 1999 and featured contributions from Argentine rock figure Charly García.
