Originating from Australia, Tania May-Bowers launched her musical path under the alias Via Tania. She also records as Sunday, shaping a blend of trip-hop and post-rock that echoes the atmospheres associated with Sade and Nico. Via Tania draws on contributions from musicians tied to Isotope 217 and Tortoise when constructing her material. Her first full-length release, Dream of..., appeared during the summer of 2002.
