Vice, born Eric Aguirre, serves as a sought-after disc jockey and on-air host drawn to energetic, dancefloor-focused EDM and accessible house sounds. Born in Los Angeles, he absorbed a broad range of styles in his youth, from hip-hop and pop to rock and R&B. At twelve he purchased his first turntable and began honing his mixing skills. In the closing years of the 1990s he climbed the ladder at POWER 106 in Los Angeles, starting on the street team before earning live on-air mixing slots. Recognition among the station’s leading selectors soon attracted club owners’ interest. By the mid-2000s he was programming major dance events at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas, Tao Las Vegas, and New York’s Marquee. Those residencies led to international headline dates in Ibiza, Tokyo, London, and Hong Kong, plus appearances at ULTRA Miami, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Electric Daisy Carnival. In the studio Vice has worked with Rihanna, Capitol Cities, Linkin Park, Tegan and Sara, Kelly Rowland, and additional artists. His 2013 anthemic EDM single “World Is Our Playground,” featuring Mike Taylor, reached Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart and marked his breakthrough. In 2014 he issued the rousing old-school house-influenced single “Bright Lights,” featuring Estelle, and delivered a pulsing remix of Caitlyn Scarlett’s “Bad Love.” Two further tracks arrived in 2016: “Love Again,” featuring Nicky B., and a remix of Wiktoria’s “Save Me.” Vice joined Ava Max for the 2018 single “Make Up.”
