Biography
Walter Olmos, an Argentinean singer, grew up inside a modest household in his hometown of Catamarca, where economic hardship drove him to beg on the streets; at age thirteen he was placed in a children’s center and remained there until he turned sixteen. In June 1993 the teenager began performing the regional style known as cuarteto, and Rodrigo El Potro discovered him five years later in 1998. Walter Olmos released his debut album, De Pura Sangre, when he reached the age of nineteen.
