Biography
Formed in Switzerland, the EDM duo Waysons consists of DJs and producers Doane and Julien, who first appeared on the scene in 2014 by blending club beats with melodic progressive house in their music. Influenced by figures such as Avicii and SHM, the pair placed their song "Homeland" with Dutch DJ Hardwell's Revealed Recordings imprint during 2015. In 2017, No Copyright Sounds put out their tracks "Daydream" and "Eternal Minds," both receiving considerable online acclaim along with numerous streams. After achieving recognition in progressive house, Waysons ventured into melodic trap territory with the 2018 release of the Ikuzo EP. Featuring contributions from Shel Bee and R3hab, the five-track project marked this shift.
