Biography
Wendy Moten, who grew up in Memphis, first developed her voice as a member of the choir at her neighborhood church. The R&B performer caught her break when she shared the stage with Michael Bolton during a charity event in New York, prompting a deal with EMI/ERG, the release of her self-titled debut album, and an invitation to open for Bolton on the road.
