Biography
The hip-hop artist Wordsmith, who resides in Baltimore and operates as both a musician and an entrepreneur, infuses his tracks with an uplifting and motivational tone. Having been raised in a military household, he passed his early years moving across multiple countries and states, such as Germany and Texas. Upon establishing roots in Baltimore, Wordsmith developed a dedicated regional audience through releases including Bridging the Gap with Chubb Rock (2009), Vintage Experience (2010), and King Noah (2012). His independent output continued in 2015 with Apt. 507, issued via the Nu Revolution imprint that he founded. Partnering subsequently with the singer JSOUL yielded the EP Blame It on the Music in 2017, which spotlighted the track "What You Gon' Do."
