Biography
Wyatt Cenac remains the sole correspondent from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to have joined forces with MC Frontalot. Equally at home as a writer, director, actor, and standup comedian, he grew up in New York City and penned episodes for the animated series King of the Hill before joining The Daily Show in 2008 as both writer and on-air contributor. To showcase his enthusiasm for hip-hop, he welcomed Slim Thug to the program in 2009 for a performance of “Still a Boss.” Two years afterward he contributed to the MC Frontalot album Solved. Also in 2011, Comedy Central aired his special Comedy Person and released the corresponding album. Cenac stepped away from The Daily Show in 2012 to concentrate on independent work, and in 2014 Netflix premiered his next hour, Brooklyn, whose album appeared on the Other Music Recording Company.
