Biography
Yankee Grey comprises six musicians in the country genre, with Tim Hunt handling lead vocals and guitar, Joe Caverlee on fiddle, Matthew Basford also on guitar, Jerry Hughes at the keyboards, Kevin Griffin on drums, and Dave Buchanan providing bass. Prior to uniting as a group, these Cincinnati natives spent over a decade performing in assorted local bar bands within their Ohio hometown. Monument Records inked them to a deal, leading to the issuance of their debut single "All Things Considered" toward the end of summer in 1999. The track entered the charts, paving the way for the September arrival of their first full-length record, Untamed.
