Young Jonn

Nigeria's Young Jonn has built a career marked by achievement in two capacities, serving as both record producer and solo performer. Beginning at Hit Factory studio in 2012, he created successful material for Olamide, Davido, Lil Kesh, and additional acts before stepping into the spotlight as a vocalist. The EPs Love Is Not Enough, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 both surfaced in 2022, followed by the arrival of his debut album Jiggy Forever in 2024.

Born in Ibadan, Oyo State during 1995, Young Jonn took up an instrument in childhood. He assembled his first band, AVG, alongside his brothers, yet the project never gained traction. He later pursued a degree in Communication and Language at Ibadan University, after which he joined Hit Factory as a producer in 2012. Momentum built when he handled several tracks for Olamide in 2014, among them the hit single "Story for the Gods," opening doors to further assignments with artists that included Davido, Lil Kesh, and Flavour. Once a full decade of production work had passed, Jonn secured a contract with Chocolate City and delivered the two EPs Love Is Not Enough, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Jiggy Forever, his first full-length project, appeared in 2024.
