Biography
Canadian-born Yvonne De Carlo first rose to prominence as an actress through lead roles in a string of Technicolor costume adventures and Westerns throughout the 1940s. When audience interest in those productions faded, she made a short-lived foray into singing during the latter half of the 1950s. Seven years afterward, she secured lasting pop-culture status by embodying Lily Munster on the television series The Munsters.
