Biography
Having already gained notice as an emerging talent within her hometown of Vancouver, Canadian singer/songwriter Adrienne Pierce signed with Nettwerk in 2003. Nominations for Best Independent Album and Best Modern Rock Record for 2002 went to her independently issued debut Small Fires from The Georgia Straight as well as Just Plain Folks. Its 2004 reissue yielded a video for "Arizona" and secured placements on multiple Canadian television programs. She has taken the stage at SXSW in Austin, TX, and at NXNE in Toronto, Ontario.
