Mexican pop-punk outfit Allison features guitarist and vocalist Erik, born November 29, 1985, alongside bassist and vocalist Manolin, born January 14, 1985, guitarist Fear, born September 12, 1985, and drummer Diego, born October 23, 1987. Erik and Manolin first met during their school years and began collaborating on songs in 2002. Additional members joined after a period of live tryouts, allowing the quartet to enter the studio for their initial album roughly twelve months later. Even as those sessions progressed, the band’s concert schedule expanded rapidly, leading to an invitation for Extreme Fest in Peru. Strong crowd reaction there secured a place on the Vans Tour, which spanned more than thirty dates. Following several large-venue appearances, the group signed with Soundguich, a BMG subsidiary. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2006, and its reception brought an offer to appear at Vive Latino, one of Latin America’s major festivals, also in 2006.
