Aloa Input

Emerging from Germany, the indie pop trio Aloa Input crafts songs centered on melodic harmonies alongside rhythms that pack a punch and carry a hint of psychedelia. Having come together in Munich during 2012, these musicians stand at the forefront of the New Weird Bavaria movement, which gathers various emerging artists in neo-Kraut, indie folk, and related styles from the area. Cico Beck, Florian Kreier, and Marcus Grassl, the members of Aloa Input, first shared their initial single titled "Prblms" via the internet prior to inking a deal with Morr Music, an independent label based in Berlin, during 2013. Late in that same year, Morr put out the band's initial full-length record Anysome, coinciding with Aloa Input's expansion of live performances beyond Germany into additional European territories. Their follow-up full-length effort arrived in 2015 under the title Mars Etc., once more merging their tendencies toward experimental psych-pop with strong melodic capabilities.
