Biography
Apparatjik coalesced in the late 2000s as a modern rock supergroup drawing on the abilities of Guy Berryman of Coldplay, Magne Furuholmen from a-ha, and Mew’s Jonas Bjerre. Their first public showing arrived on the 2008 benefit compilation Bruce Parry Presents: Amazon - Tribe - Songs for Survival; the following year they issued the single “Electric Eye” as a free download and disclosed plans to complete a full-length album in 2010.
