Biography
Formed in Chattanooga as a Tennessee rock outfit defined by its intense and soul-infused approach, Behold the Brave came together through the efforts of Clayton Davis on vocals and guitar, Zack Randolph on guitar, Joel Parks on bass, and Jeremiah Thompson on drums. Listeners first met the group’s forceful fusion of Southern rock, soul, and psychedelia on the 2010 debut EP Lost in the Woods, a direction the band broadened two years later with The Great North American Challenge EP. After relentless touring and a pair of compelling releases, Behold the Brave advanced by moving operations to Nashville in 2015, where the members concentrated on finishing their first full-length project. The self-titled debut, captured primarily through live studio takes, reached audiences in July 2017 on the Los Angeles indie label WITHYN Records.
