Big Bud stands out as an enthusiastically charged jungle producer who has released material solely through the Good Looking and Looking Good labels run by LTJ Bukem, directing his attention toward the standard blend-drenched reveries typical of breakbeat drum'n'bass. Initial outings came via several 12-inch singles on Good Looking, among them "Blue 52," "Emotionography," and "State of Mind," followed by spots on the Bukem-assembled collections Earth 3 and Logical Progression 3. At risk of vanishing among numerous comparable yet less substantial producers tied to Bukem, Big Bud gained separation when the solo full-length Infinity + Infinity appeared in 1999, an uncommon move for the GL/LG roster at the time. Two years afterward came Late Night Blues.
