Blueline Medic

Emerging from Melbourne, Australia, in 1999, Blueline Medic assembled vocalist/guitarist Donnie Dureau, guitarist Adrian Lombardi, bassist Dave Snow, and drummer Shaun Lohoar into a unit that soon embodied the raw force and jagged contours of Hüsker Dü and Jawbox. The quartet first reached American audiences in 2000 by opening for Burning Airlines, Hot Water Music, and Samiam, then issued its debut EP, A Working Title in Green, through Fueled by Ramen. J. Robbins produced the taut, arresting full-length The Apology Wars, which surfaced in 2001, while the follow-up album Text Bomb appeared two years later.
