Biography
Bop English serves as the solo outlet for James Petralli, the frontman of White Denim. Starting in 2011, the Austin-based musician gradually assembled an assortment of bright pop tracks that stood apart from the aggressive garage approach of his primary band. During breaks between White Denim projects, Petralli joined forces with assorted musicians and producers to shape an expansive body of work weaving in strands of 1970s funk, soft rock, jazz, country, and pop. Summer 2015 brought the arrival of Constant Bop, his first release under the Bop English banner.
