Bosca

German rapper Bosca launched his professional path while still a teenager, aligning himself with the Frankfurt-based collective Ultrakaos. That rap outfit maintained strong ties to the city’s Ultras scene, a network of devoted football supporters, and issued two self-titled EPs in 2008 and 2009. Seeking to broaden his artistic scope beyond the concerns of the Ultras, Bosca entered into an agreement with Butterfly Music, the imprint run by his friend and fellow rapper Vega. In 2010 he teamed with Face for the joint release Kinokarte: Film Eines Lebens. The same year saw Vega depart Butterfly Music after a disagreement with business partners Emonex (M1X); Bosca followed suit, moving to Vega’s newly founded label Freunde von Niemand. His debut full-length solo project, Fighting Society, arrived in 2011 and was succeeded the next year by König der Luft, the third chapter in his Ultrakaos EP series. Solange Es Schlägt, his second solo LP, surfaced in 2013.
