Breaking Laces

Initially launched as the solo endeavor of alt-pop outfit Breaking Laces frontman and guitarist Willem Hartong, the project yielded the self-produced albums Operation Income in May 2003 and Sohcahtoa in February 2004. Hartong subsequently enlisted drummer Seth Mazarsky, who had previously shared a stage in Darby Jones with bassist Rob Chojnacki, the latter joining the lineup shortly afterward. The trio logged extensive stage time prior to issuing their first collective full-length, Lemonade, in August 2005. October 2006 brought the six-song EP Astronomy Is My Life, But I Love You, while Live at Seaside surfaced three years later in October 2009. Breaking Laces returned in 2010 with the four-song EP When You Find Out.
