Biography
Hailing from Michigan, Bronze Nazareth has built a dual career as both producer and rapper, forging extensive ties with numerous leading figures across hip-hop, among them multiple Wu-Tang Clan affiliates. Outside his solo production and beatmaking work, he performs as a member of the Wisemen collective alongside his brother Kevlaar 7 and has issued several solo projects, among them the 2022 album If You're Worried, You Should Be.
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bronze Nazareth spent his formative years in Detroit. His earliest influences drew from classic soul recordings by Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, and Curtis Mayfield, as well as studio-focused rap innovators such as Madlib and Wu-Tang’s RZA. An introduction in 2002 to members of the wider Wu-Tang circle resulted in production contributions to two tracks on RZA’s 2003 release Birth of a Prince.
By 2005 he had handled the bulk of the Wu-Tang Meets the Indie Culture compilation, then followed in 2006 with his first solo album, The Great Migration. Co-produced by Dreddy Kruger, the set featured appearances from Wu-Tang associates Killa Sin and Timbo King alongside additional guests. His production work continued to expand through ongoing partnerships with both major and underground hip-hop acts, yielding credits on projects by Canibus, Ghostface Killah, Roc Marciano, and others. Further solo releases include the 2011 album School for the Blindman, which contained guest verses from La the Darkman, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, and additional Wu-Tang Clan members; the 2014 collaboration The Living Daylights with Willie the Kid; various mixtapes; and the 2022 studio album If You're Worried, You Should Be.
