Biography
Primarily recognized for portraying the rugged protagonist in the Die Hard film series, Bruce Willis—born March 19, 1955, in Penns Grove, New Jersey—made two forays into recording during the late 1980s. His first album, The Return of Bruno, posted surprising sales after the single “Respect Yourself” climbed into the Top Five in early 1987. Two additional modest hits followed, and he released a second album in 1989, though he largely stayed away from music thereafter, appearing only now and then at the launches of several Planet Hollywood restaurants.
