Biography
Jordan Caiola, a songwriter, musician, and producer who established the Philly indie rock outfit Mo Lowda & The Humble and helped launch the electro-pop production pair NightSeason, channels his work through the solo folk-rock outlet known as Caiola. His first full-length statement arrived as the contemplative, soul-steeped Only Real When Shared in 2022, followed two years later by This Could Be Everything.
The group Mo Lowda & The Humble surfaced in 2010, shaping an approach built around brisk, guitar-led indie rock and marked by inventive, introspective composition. They delivered their opening album, Curse the Weather, in 2013, steadily cultivating a devoted national audience through vigorous performances and a grounded, approachable presence. Following the 2020 arrival of their third record, Ready Coat, worldwide restrictions tied to the COVID-19 Pandemic halted touring. Caiola turned the period toward capturing a collection of indie folk-leaning pieces he had developed across prior years, yielding Only Real When Shared as his initial solo album. The project drew widespread praise and featured the reflective single “Alaska,” which has since accumulated tens of millions of streams. Mo Lowda & The Humble returned in 2023 with their self-titled fourth album, while Caiola presented his second studio effort, This Could Be Everything, in 2024.
