Biography
Members of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra established Capella Istropolitana, which has since expanded from a chamber ensemble into a full orchestra. Richard Edlinger directs the group through an extensive classical repertoire. Works by Handel, Vivaldi, and Telemann appear among their selections, yet the orchestra has concentrated chiefly on Mozart and Haydn, having recorded fifteen symphonies by each.
