Biography
Carmine Coppola, recognized as a flutist and film score composer, undertook studies in flute and composition at Juilliard, followed by further training at the Manhattan School of Music. Coppola spent an extended period working under Arturo Toscanini within his NBC Symphony Orchestra. In subsequent years, he provided scores for various films by his son, legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, such as Apocalypse Now (1979) and The Godfather, Part III (1990).
