Biography
Hailing from Barra, the gifted Gaelic vocalist MacPhee first gained recognition through performances with Edinburgh’s renowned 7:84 theatre company. Across multiple productions she contributed both songs and acting roles. Those stage appearances generated widespread attention and prompted repeated calls for a recording, prompting her to launch a career as a recording artist to satisfy the interest.
