Biography
Acclaimed by reviewers, composer Celso Adolfo enjoys expanding recognition. Recordings of his material have come from Milton Nascimento, who placed "Coração Brasileiro" on Ânima, contributed to Brasil, Nome de Vegetal by singing the title song, and produced the initial release Coração Brasileiro back in 1983. "Coração Brasileiro" also appeared via Elba Ramalho, who titled both her 1983 album and accompanying show after the piece. Inclusion in the TV Globo telenovela Fera Ferida went to Adolfo's "Minueto." A European tour took place in October 2000. Denmark hosted presentations of ten compositions during a concert, followed by recordings from Copenhagen Conservatory pupils. Five albums span the period from 1983 through 1998.
