Chris Caffery

Christopher Caffery entered the world in 1967 and began his musical journey as a guitarist moving through multiple groups until he settled into the lineup of Heaven. During the period when Heaven started to dissolve, he received an invitation to serve temporarily as Savatage’s second guitarist, an arrangement that later turned into a permanent role. He eventually stepped away from Savatage to form a band alongside his brother, yet that project ultimately dissolved, prompting his return to the Savatage roster where he has remained ever since. Caffery also participates in the related endeavors Doctor Butcher and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The multi-talented musician issued his debut solo effort, the two-disc collection Faces, in 2004 and followed it with the fifteen-track album Warp in 2005.
