Biography
Clare Bowditch displayed songwriting abilities from childhood onward. Her public emergence occurred in 1998 after she met John Hedigan and formed the band Red Raku, which issued an EP. Once Red Raku disbanded, Bowditch assembled the Feeding Set with Libby Chow and Warren Bloomer. That group delivered the albums Autumn Bone and What Was Left, the second appearing on EMI. In 2007 Bowditch issued her third full-length, The Moon Looked On, working with a modestly reconfigured edition of the Feeding Set.
