Biography
Daddy's Cash originated in Zakopane, Poland, where the ensemble's energetic style draws from blues, soul, and funk foundations. Comprising nine members, the group includes a horn section and maintains frequent partnerships with additional musicians. Since its 2010 formation, Daddy's Cash supported John Lee Hooker, Jr. on the recording of That's What the Blues Is All About, with every participant contributing to the compositions while Hooker supplied the complete set of lyrics. The 2012 release achieved sufficient sales to receive gold certification from ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry. Body Blues also appeared that year, presented as a project led by Pam Hawkins. In 2014 the ensemble put out the romping blues-rap-pop hybrid single "This Is My Party."
