Biography
Dan Ghenacia first encountered house music after attending a rave, an experience that soon prompted him to acquire his own records and turntables. Born in France, he gravitates toward sounds ranging from disco-funk to classic, down-tempo house. Following his high-school years, the Parisian moved to San Diego in 1995. There he befriended DJ Quark and secured his debut club performance at a venue named Flame. Upon returning to France, his profile rose steadily within two years, aided by appearances at the Magic Garden parties and sets alongside figures such as Cajmere, Carl Craig, and Green Velvet; by the late 1990s his career had gained significant momentum. He further supports the local scene through his involvement with the record shop Traffic Records. In October 2000, Cyclo Records released his mix CD Revolving House.
