Biography
Dangerman formed as a New York City-based alt pop duo around singer/guitarist Chris Scianni and drummer Dave Borla, two longtime fixtures on the local scene who first teamed up in 1997. Following road work with a wide array of artists from Luscious Jackson to Fun Lovin' Criminals, the pair brought in producer Brendan O'Brien for their self-titled debut LP, which arrived on Sony's 550 imprint in 1999.
