Darryl Jenifer, after three decades handling bass duties for the storied punk outfit Bad Brains, issued his first solo album in 2010. In Search of Black Judas wove together dub, punk, and jazz threads that had long shaped the versatile artist and arrived via ROIR, the imprint behind Bad Brains’ debut release.
