Biography
Originating in 2000 as a solo endeavor by singer and guitarist Dax Riggs, formerly of Agents of Oblivion and Acid Bath, the visceral indie rock duo Deadboy & the Elephantmen spent the next four years working with an ever-changing group of area musicians. In 2004 Riggs connected with New Orleans-born singer and drummer Tessie Brunet, and together they cut their Fat Possum debut, We Are Night Sky, in Houma, LA, where it appeared in February 2006.
