Biography
The singer put out her take on Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind" in 1978 and scored widespread national acclaim that drove sales of her debut record, Diana Pequeno. After exploring an array of styles that stretched from Northeastern and Latin American rhythms to pop, she scored no hits on the five albums issued through 1989.
