Lynn Standafer records under the alias Enduser as an American electronic music producer whose output centers on aggressive breakcore, drawing from 1990s drum'n'bass imprints such as Metalheadz, industrial outfits like Skinny Puppy and Godflesh, golden-age hardcore hip-hop figures including KRS-One, and dancehall reggae deejays such as Cutty Ranks. Born in Cincinnati, Standafer established the Sonicterror label during his residence in Kentucky in 2002, debuting with a split 7-inch shared by Enduser and Tek-Mind while also issuing material from additional artists that encompassed Line 47, Rusuden, and Dev79. Enduser performed frequently at clubs and basements alongside breakcore acts such as Dev/Null, Xanopticon, and Duran Duran Duran, and put out several limited-edition CD-Rs of his own material. These recordings attracted notice from audiences beyond the breakcore scene and even earned attention from the indie-rock-focused site Pitchfork. In 2003 the Japanese label Omeko put out Revolution, a split 12-inch pairing Enduser with Michigan-based ragga-jungle producer Soundmurderer, which elevated Standafer’s visibility and drew interest from British radio figures such as John Peel. Numerous tracks originally appearing on Enduser’s CD-Rs received broader distribution in 2004 via 12-inch EPs on Sonicterror and Feed the Machine Records as well as the full-length From Zero issued on Ant-Zen’s breakcore imprint Mirex. That same year he also released the Bollywood Breaks EP through German label Ad Noiseam and the split CD Reduced Phat 2% alongside Subsektor and Edgey.

Standafer, then living in Berlin, maintained an especially active pace throughout 2005, issuing three full-length albums and close to a dozen singles and EPs. Run War and Comparing Paths collected additional material from his prior CD-R and vinyl releases, whereas Calling the Vultures ventured partially into slower, hip-hop-oriented terrain. Ad Noiseam issued a 12-inch EP of remixes for the widely favored track “Beatdown” along with the split EP Monsters of Mashup shared with Bong-Ra and Shitmat. Enduser kept releasing 12-inch EPs on breakcore and drum'n'bass labels including Outbreak, Damage, and Ohm Resistance. The 2006 split EP Unraveled Ears with Larvae appeared that year, as did two full-length albums: Form Without Function came out on Hymen Records in June and Pushing Back followed on Ad Noiseam in October. The same label also released the 2007 split EP The Kill with Bong-Ra.

Once Standafer had relocated back to the United States, Ohm Resistance put out the 2008 full-length Left, an album that again explored some slower trip-hop tempos alongside more intense drum'n'bass passages. Standafer joined the industrial drum'n'bass supergroup Blood of Heroes alongside Bill Laswell, Justin Broadrick, Submerged, and Dr. Israel; the ensemble delivered its self-titled debut on Ohm Resistance in 2010 and followed with Remain later that year. Enduser returned to Ad Noiseam, which released the 1/3 EP in 2010 and the full-length Even Weight in 2011. The label further issued the 2012 split CD Enduser Shares Needles with the Teknoist. Blood of Heroes’ third release, The Waking Nightmare, appeared on Ohm Resistance that same year. Enduser’s sole 2013 output was the 12-inch EP Retox on the similarly named Dutch label. He continued touring and developing new material, including a collaboration with Gore Tech. In late 2016 German label Hands Productions released the full-length Enter to Exit.
