Biography
Born as Raphaël Mussard in 1971 in Marseilles, France, Faf Larage emerged as a commercially successful French rapper whose cover of the Prison Break theme song secured the top slot on French Billboard charts. As the sibling of Shurik'n from the storied Marseilles rap collective AIM, he joined forces with his brother on multiple projects, among them the 1997 hit single "La Garde Meurt Mais Ne Se Rend Pas" and an entire joint album. Through a pair of solo releases—C'est Ma Cause in 1999 and Rap Stories in 2007—he established himself as a distinct Marseilles-inflected voice within French rap.
